| Wrightmans Construction raise over £400 for local charity |
| July 2010 |
Martin Wright, Managing Director of Wrightmans Construction Ltd raised over £400 for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Services by taking part in the ‘Dawn to Dusk’ walk from Earls Barton to Ashton.

Walking alongside other fund raisers, Martin struggled on with blisters to the end. “I felt as though I was walking on bubble wrap, during the last few miles, but I wasn’t prepared to give up” Martin commented.
Martin spent months getting fit for the walk and lost a few pounds in weight along the way. His hard work and determination certainly paid off, even though he ended up visiting A&E and walking around with one foot in a slipper for a couple of weeks to follow.
Martin added: “It’s good to give something back to the community. At Wrightmans Construction we pride ourselves in helping those who help us. We’re going through an extremely busy period with various contracts on the go, but we’ll always take time out to support local charitable events.” |
